Warrant issued following guns and drug investigation

police_warrantProvincial police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man involved in a large-scale guns and drugs operation.

Philip Kwaku Nkrumah, 31, is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area and Windsor.

The warrant comes after a joint operation between Ontario Provincial Police, Windsor Police, Canada Border Services Agency, United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations, United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and London police investigating the importation and sale of illegal firearms between Michigan and Ontario.

Following a year-long investigation, 10 people were arrested and face more than 100 charges after warrants found weapons, two kilograms of cocaine, various drug trafficking packaging and paraphernalia, $67,000 in Canada currency and $10,500 in American currency.

Anyone with knowledge of Nkrumah’s whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
