Two suspects sought in home invasion

Investigators are looking for two suspects after a home invasion-style robbery at a residence in north Oshawa.

On June 6, at approximately 4 p.m., members of East Division responded to a home invasion-style robbery at a house near Ritson Road North and Coldstream Drive in Oshawa.

A 29-year-old man was at his residence when two men knocked on the door and asked for him. After a brief conversation, the male attempted to close the door and the two suspects pushed their way in. One male was brandishing a knife. They demanded money and one of the suspects punched the male victim in the face.

The two suspects grabbed a few small items and ran out. The victim did not know the two suspects and did not require medical attention.

The first suspect is described as male, white, 25 to 30 years old, 5’7″ tall, and about 150 lbs. The second suspect is described as male, black, 25 to 30 years old, 5’11” tall, and about 150 lbs.
