Two men arrested after $36k in drugs seized

Two men have been arrested after an array of drugs worth nearly $40,000, including cocaine, marijuana and MDMA, were seized from a home on Bond Street.

On Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, officers from the Gun and Gang unit executed a search warrant on Bond Street West in Oshawa. Drugs with a street value of more than $36,000 were seized and two people were arrested. The drugs seized included cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal meth, MDMA, heroin and marijuana. A quantity of Canadian currency and drug paraphilia was also seized during the search.

A 27-year-old male of Bond Street West in Oshawa has been charged with trafficking a schedule I substance (cocaine), and three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A second 27-year-old male of Kingston Road in Toronto has been charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both men were held for bail hearings.
