Two people are facing charges after they allegedly fled from police in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, Jan. 28, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers observed a vehicle with front-end damage. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the female driver failed to stop for police.
The motorist continued to drive off and eventually stopped in a residential area. A male passenger, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, jumped out and fled on foot.
The female driver, 28, of Charter Crescent in Oshawa, is charged with flight from police. She was released on an undertaking.
The male passenger, age 35 of Nonquon Road in Oshawa is charged with fail to appear. He was held for a bail hearing.
