Truck collides with pole
A 60-year-old male is in hospital after his pickup truck collided with a hydro pole in north Oshawa.
At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 30 officers from the Central West Division of DRPS were called to Conlin Road West and Thornton Road North for a single vehicle collision. The male was driving a silver Chevrolet pickup, and while making a right turn from Conlin to Thornton, suffered a possible medical episode and left the roadway.
The driver was transported to local hospital before being transferred to Centenary Hospital in Toronto.
Members of the DRPS Traffic Services Branch, Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The scene was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
