The way forward for child care

Dear Editor,

Too many families are struggling to find child care – Ontario has the highest child care costs in the country. If families can find a space, they struggle to pay for it.

Patrick Brown and the Ontario PCs have a plan to address both.  We will deliver much-needed relief to families.

An Ontario PC government will introduce a new Ontario Child Care Refund. It will cover up to 75 per cent of child care costs. Under our plan, a single parent who has a child under six and earns less than $35,000 per year will be eligible for a refund of $6,750. This will mean more money in the pockets of hardworking families.

We are also committed to building 100,000 new child care spaces.

This will make child care more attainable and more affordable. That’s real change that works for families.

Covering up to 75% of child care expenses is part of the Ontario PC Party’s plan to get Ontario back on track.

It’s called the People’s Guarantee.

It is a clear expression of exactly what we will do if we win government. At its core its five achievable measures an Ontario PC government would take to make your life easier.

Under the Wynne Liberals you work harder, pay more, and get less. The Ontario PC Party has a plan for a better future: for you, and for your family. It’s time for change that works for you: the people, not the insiders.
