Suspects sought in Whitby stabbing

Police have released the description of five suspects after a 29-year-old male was stabbed early Sunday morning in Whitby.

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, at approximately 2:00 a.m., police were called to a stabbing incident at Brock Street and Dunlop Street in Whitby after a verbal altercation with a number of individuals led to one victim being stabbed.

The victim was taken to local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for several suspects, they are described as:

Suspect #1 is described as: male, mid 20’s, black short hair, facial hair. He was wearing a red hooded sweater, red jogging pants, armed with a knife.

Suspect #2 is described as: male, black, mid 20’s, red hooded sweater, grey sweat pants.

Suspect #3 is described as: male, white, bald, skinny build, 5’9” tattoos on body, no shirt.

Suspect #4 and #5 are described as: female, white.
