Suspects flee collision
Durham police are seeking two suspects who fled from the scene of a collision in Oshawa.
Officers were called to a collision on Wednesday, Sept. 1, around 4:30 p.m., involving two vehicles in the area of Grenfell Street and Elmgrove Avenue in Oshawa.
Police say a collision occurred in the intersection between a blue Nissan and a black Honda Civic. The two male occupants of the Honda fled on foot.
The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries.
An investigation revealed that the Honda Civic was a stolen vehicle.
The first suspect is described as a male with a tanned complexion in his late teens with long black hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and a mask over his face.
The second suspect is described as a black male with a slim build, about 5’5” tall, with short black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police are asking for witnesses to come forward with any information. Investigators are also looking for any video surveillance or dash-cam footage from drivers in the area around the time of the collision.
