Durham Region is hosting an open house to provide residents the opportunity to learn more about the municipality’s plans for the 2020 budget process.
According to a media release, regional staff hope residents will gain an increased understanding of programs and services, and will take the opportunity to provide their input on priorities for 2020.
The presentation and question and answer sessions for the open house will also be livestreamed on the region’s Facebook page and on durham.ca

The open house is on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Employees will be available between 2 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. to provide information on the programs and services provided by the region, and hear residents’ priorities for the budget.
The presentation is set to begin at 7 p.m. followed by an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide their input on priorities once again.
The presentation will be in room LL-C at regional headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East inWhitby.
