Psychotherapist charged in alleged sexual assault on a child

A psychotherapist and mediator who offers services in Durham Region and Toronto has been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a child.

According to Toronto Police, the 51-year-old of Toronto was arrested on March 13 for sexual assault and sexual interference.

The incident was alleged to have taken place at an address in the Bathurst Street and Lawrence Street West area in Toronto.

The accused was arrested by members of the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.

The Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) is a partnership among local community and government agencies. It is comprised of specialized child abuse investigators from the Toronto Police Service along with numerous child and youth organizations.

The man’s LinkedIn profile lists him as the owner of Durham Region Family Law Support Services.

He is also listed as a registered psychotherapist and chartered mediator at PCK Psychotherapy and PCK Mediation and an instructor at Durham College.

His profile also claims he is “the best Jewish DJ in the city [of Toronto]”.

He is scheduled to appear in Toronto Court on Friday, April 27.
