Police surprise suspect breaking into an LCBO
A 31-year-old Oshawa man got a bit of a surprise when police officers walked through the door of the LCBO store he was trying to rob early in the morning on April 13.
It was around 1:15 a.m. when police responded to an alarm call at the LCBO store on Gilbert Street in Whitby. When police arrived a man was found inside attempting to steal bottles of alcohol. He was arrested without incident.
The 31-year-old is charged with breaking and entering, and failing to comply with probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
