Home invasion in Oshawa leads to arrest

One man is in custody following a home invasion in Oshawa.

On April 13, police were called to a home in the Simcoe Street and Adelaide Avenue area after reports of a robbery.

According to police a woman let one man into her home before a second followed him inside with a knife. Several items were stolen before the suspect fled the home.

A 31-year-old man from Oshawa is facing charges of robbery and failing to comply with his probation.

However, police are still looking for the second man involved in the incident. He has been described as a white male, 5’8-5’10, 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a grey hat and black bandana.
