Two Oshawa residents are facing several charges as a result of a months-long police investigation into drug deals in the city.
The investigation, which began in August, saw police witness numerous drug transactions both on the street and at a man’s northend home.
On Dec. 28, police executed a search of the man’s residence and found 105 grams of cocaine, 20.35 litres of GHB, 219 Percocet tablets, 122 morphine capsules, nine tablets of MDMA, five grams of MDMA crystal and $5,045 in cash.
Police estimate the total value of the drugs and cash at more than $25,000.
A 38-year-old male of Carncastle Court has been charged with two counts of trafficking, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
A 34-year-old female of Carncastle Court has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Three people who purchased drugs were also arrested, and face possession charges.
