Police seeing attacker in Subway fight

Police are trying to identify a man involved in a fight with another customer at an Oshawa restaurant last year.

On Nov. 21, 2018 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the Subway location on Park Road North in Oshawa regarding a man who had been injured in a fight.

Investigation revealed that two males were in the Subway store ordering food. A verbal altercation between the two escalated and, just outside of the front doors, one of the men punched the other, leaving him injured on the ground. The male who threw the punch was seen driving away in a red four-door sedan.

The male who was struck was taken to hospital and admitted for over a week with serious head injuries. Investigators want to speak with the male who threw the punch.

He is described as black, 25 to 35 years old, about 6’ tall, with black hair and a full beard. He was wearing a black coat.
