Police open up new unit
Durham police have opened its Information Release Unit at regional headquarters. Record checks and fingerprint scans will be done from this location.
Need to get a police background check done? Well, there is now a new place to go.
Durham police’s Information Release Unit is now at regional headquarters – 605 Rossland Rd. E in Whitby – on the third floor, and will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
As a result, record checks and fingerprint scanning will now be done at this location.
