Police make arrest over October armed robbery
An Oshawa man is now facing charges in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store last month.
On Sunday, Oct. 23, the Mac’s Milk on Wentworth Street West was robbed. According to police, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Following tips that came in from the public after images of the suspect were released, he was identified. Police arrested a suspect Nov. 17 at his address without incident.
A 50-year-old male of Thomas Street in Oshawa has been charged with robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon in connection with this incident.
