Police arrest man who robbed Oshawa convenience store
Durham police investigators have arrested a 38-year-old man who robbed an Oshawa convenience store on Aug. 2.
According to police, the suspect entered the Circle K convenience store on King Street East and ordered the clerk to open the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect was handed a quantity of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the store. The clerk was not physically injured.
A 38-year-old of Barrie has been charged with robbery. He was held for a bail hearing.
