Pistol-wielding man robs convenience store

Police are searching for a male suspect after an Oshawa convenience store was robbed by a man with a pistol.

At approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, a lone male entered the Mac’s Milk on Ritson Road South and showed the clerk he had a pistol tucked into his waistband. He then fled the scene after receiving a small quantity of cash. He was last seen heading east toward Dean Avenue.

The employee was not physically injured as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old and about six feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, gray hoodie and blue jeans.
