Pharmacy robbed for narcotics
A man armed with a weapon robbed a pharmacy over the weekend.
Police were called to Parkwood Pharmacy on Simcoe Street North at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 26 for a robbery. According to police, a male suspect entered the drug store, jumped over the counter and demanded narcotics. The suspect fled on foot after receiving a quantity of narcotics.
Police say the male suspect had a weapon.
No one was physically harmed during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately five feet and four inches tall and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, red baseball hat and sunglasses.
