Oshawa players to represent Canada
A pair of young Oshawa footballers will get the opportunity of a lifetime as they travel to Orlando, FL to compete in the 60th annual Pop Warner Super Bowl.
Keesean Bowen and Theodore De Silva, both 14, will have the chance to compete against teams from Finland, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates during the tournament, which will see more than 16,000 football players, dancers and cheer enthusiasts take over the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from Dec. 3 to 10.
Canada’s team has traveled from Ontario for each of the six tournaments organized by Global Football and draws players from Thunder Bay, Oshawa, London and the Greater Toronto Area.
