Oshawa man charged after driving car into ditch in Otonabee-South Monaghan

An Oshawa man is facing several charges after driving his car into a ditch while intoxicated east of Peterborough.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 23, members of the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a collision on the David Fife Line in Otonabee-South Monaghan.

At the scene, police spoke with an intoxicated male that stated he had driven his car into the ditch.

A 36-year-old Oshawa male has been charged with care and control of a vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood, care and control of a vehicle while impaired and breach of recognizance.
