Notley’s plan for Alberta

Dear Editor,

In regards to Kevin O’Leary’s offer to invest a measly million into Alberta’s energy companies, if Notley resigns – it would appear that he thinks that Rachel Notley has the same agenda as him, but she just has no plan.

Actually, her plan is working as she has laid out in the beginning.

She and the NDP in Alberta do not want what O’leary and most Albertans, and indeed most Canadians, want.

The NDP are doing their level best to kill any investment and all the jobs that go with that in oil and gas production in Alberta.

Caps on production, increased royalties, carbon taxes, preventing by any means pipeline construction to safely and more economically get the product to markets.

With the NDP policies in this country, the Saudis flooding the world markets with cheap oil to kill off competition and Obama killing Keystone to satisfy his left-wing environmental backers and now Hillary piling on also, I feel Alberta will be a wasteland as more and more jobs will dry up, just as Notley and crew hope for.

When this happens totally, the left-wingers can crow about how much less “greenhouse gasses” are being put into the atmosphere under their watch in Alberta.

Climate change is all they care about, and shutting down the oil sands is the primary goal.

Ralph Kline must be spinning in his grave.
