Multiple vehicles broken into in city’s north end

Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a number of cars were broken into in the north end of the city.

Just after midnight on Thursday, March 30, Durham police received calls from several residents that their vehicles had been broken into. According to police, the cars’ windows were smashed and personal items inside were stolen. In one case, medication was taken from the vehicle.

The incidents took place on four different residential streets – Blackwood Boulevard, Aldergrove Drive, Oakhill Avenue and Rockcreek Drive.

Police are advising vehicle owners to keep all valuables out of site when the vehicle is unattended.
