Mudmen returning to Regent Theatre
High energy and a lot of fun, The Mudmen are a Celtic rock band who inspire a party as soon as they hit the stage.
Founded by the Campbell Brothers in 1998, The Mudmen have 8 studio albums building a resume and a legion of fans from young to old.
Their accomplishments include reaching number 19 on the Edge Radio, six music video’s on Much Music and signing with EMI Records from 2000-2004.
More recently, their accomplishments include, the new CBC “Hockey Night in Canada” theme song; the 1983/84 Edmonton Oilers Reunion with Wayne Gretzky and teammates present, the Commonwealth Stadium with Sydney Crosby present, and a three month tour with Johnny Reid, his PBS Special and the CCMA’s.
The Mudmen have met and performed for the Queen and have been honoured to entertain and share the stage with numerous celebrities over the years including Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Paul Shaffer, William Shatner, The Guess Who, Gordon Lightfoot, and many others.
Don Cherry and Ron MacLean have featured music by the Mudmen on Rock’em Sock’em nine, 19, 20, 24 and 27.
Cherry and MacLean have also featured them on Coaches Corner and during the nationally televised making of the new CBC hockey anthem.
The show is recommended for those who are 12 or older.
The Mudmen will be at the Regent Theatre in Oshawa on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 and are available at regenttheatre.ca.
