Meth on the back leads to charges
An Oshawa man is facing several charges after Kingston police found he was in possession of drugs – the location of which they called unique.
Kingston police were asked by Durham police to check on the welfare of a woman in the company of her boyfriend on the morning of Saturday, April 23. According to Kingston police, they found the couple at a hotel near Highway 401.
Once inside, police were allow to ensure the female’s safety. However, when the man inside turned around, police saw a clear plastic bag with what appeared to be crystal methamphetamine stuck to his back.
After a search of the hotel room, police found more crystal methamphetamine, as well as marijuana, a fentanyl patch and $5,000 in cash.
Police say the value of the crystal methamphetamine found was approximately $3,500.
A 36-year-old Oshawa male has been charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and uttering threats, as well as one count of possession of a controlled substance.
