Man seriously injured in Oshawa crash

A two-vehicle collision in Oshawa sent one male to hospital with serious injuries.

On Monday, Aug. 27 just before 9 p.m., a Cadillac was stopped at a red light northbound on Stevenson Road, waiting for the advance green to turn left onto Bond Street West. As the advance green began, he entered the intersection and was struck by a westbound Toyota vehicle.

The 54-year-old male driver of the Toyota suffered serious injuries and was taken to local hospital before being transferred to a Toronto trauma centre. The 16-year-old driver of the Cadillac received minor injuries and his passenger was not injured.
