Man punched, pepper-sprayed

Police are asking the public to help identify a male suspect who punched and pepper-sprayed a complete stranger in Oshawa.

On Oct. 23 at approximately 2 p.m., a 36-year-old real estate agent attended a residence on Oberland Drive in Oshawa to show a rental property. He had made arrangements to show the property via a text message and while waiting for the customer, he noticed an unknown man looking at his vehicle, which he had parked in the driveway.

The real estate agent approached the man and asked what he was doing. The unknown man then punched the victim in the face and sprayed him with an unknown substance. The unknown man then ran away and the victim called police.

The suspect is described as a male, white, 30 to 35 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a reddish-brown goatee, wearing a grey hoodie and a black hat. He was seen getting into a vehicle described as a white SUV.
