Durham police are investigating after a man was dropped off at an Oshawa intersection suffering from a gunshot wound.
On Friday, July 3 around 10:45 p.m., paramedics were flagged down by a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Bloor Street East and Ritson Road South in Oshawa. The 27-year-old victim from Toronto advised police that he had been dropped off at the location in a black Honda and could not recall where in Oshawa the shooting took place.
He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries. Further details have not been forthcoming and the investigation continues.
