It was a tough week for the Oshawa 16U elite Legionaires as they battled in a pair of games against the league’s other top teams.

Sitting in second place prior to last week’s matchups, the Legionaires attempted to keep sole-handle on the position, but things changed after a 15-6 loss to the first-place Etobicoke Rangers and a 7-2 defeat at the hands of the Brampton Royals on July 16.

The loss leaves Oshawa with a 9-6 record and 18 points, which ties them with Brampton’s 9-5, 18-point record.

The club will take the week off from EBLO action as they travel to Boston to compete in the 16U Underclass World Series tournament from July 20 to 23 at the New England Baseball Complex.
