Lords break even on trip to nation’s capital

The Durham College men’s basketball team is back above .500 after picking up a 75-66 victory over the La Cité Coyotes on Nov. 27

The Lords nine-point victory came thanks to their strong second quarter, where they outscored the Coyotes 22-15 after both teams were tied 15-15 through the opening 10 minutes.

Durham only outscored their opponents by a single point in each of the remaining quarters to earn their 75-66 victory.

The Lords victory puts them in a five-way tie for fifth in the OCAA east region, which is led by the 8-0 Seneca Sting.

Tonight (Nov. 30) Durham will be in Scarborough to face the Centennial Colts (6-3), who are third in the east region as of Nov. 27.
