Knife brandished in Circle K robbery

Police are looking for two suspects after a convenience store was robbed in Oshawa.

On May 28, at approximately 12:30 a.m., members of Central East Division were dispatched to a robbery call at the Circle K convenience store on Wentworth Street in Oshawa.

Police arrived and the clerk indicated a lone man armed with a knife entered the store and made a demand for cash. Another man stood by the door and held it open. The man grabbed cigarettes and cash before fleeing on foot.

The clerk was not physically harmed during the incident.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, with a dark beard, and dark hair. He was wearing a hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes and had a backpack. He was armed with a knife.

There is no suspect description for the second man.
