Those driving through Columbus Road and Grandview Street should be aware of changes to the intersection.
According to a news release from the regional works department, the intersection at Columbus and Grandview will be converted to a two-way stop on Grandview only, starting Aug. 10, weather permitting. Traffic heading east-west on Columbus will no longer be required to come to a stop at the intersection.
According to a news release, the change is being made as a result of changes to the traffic volume due to construction activity and the recent opening of Highway 407.
