Police have released the image of a suspect wanted in connection with several gas thefts across Durham Region. According to police, the suspect has filled his car without paying at gas stations in Oshawa, Port Perry and Brooklin over the past month. He is also wanted in the theft of hundreds of dollars in liquor from a Bowmanville LCBO.

Durham police have released the image of a suspect wanted following the theft of gas and liquor from businesses in Durham Region.

A male suspect was captured on video surveillance at a Port Perry gas station on Friday, Aug. 5, pumping more than $65 worth of gas into a vehicle and driving off without paying. The same suspect and vehicle were involved in a similar theft two days later at a gas station on Taunton Road East in Oshawa.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, the suspect stole more than $580 worth of liquor from an LCBO branch in Bowmanville, leaving in a black car.

Four days later, police say he stole more than $50 in gas from a Brooklin gas station.

Police say that in all incidents, the suspect was seen in a black, newer model BMW. The plates on the vehicle have been reported missing in York Region. In two incidents, a female suspect was seen in the car.

The male suspect is described as white, five feet and eight inches to five feet and 11 inches tall with a slim build and has a shaved head and brown and grey goatee.
