Green Gaels remain undefeated
The Green Gaels remain perfect to open their season current sitting with a 4-0 record.
On May 7, the club delivered a serious pummelling to the Kahnawake Hunters beating them 19-3.
Leading 5-2 after the first period, the Gaels opened the game up in the second scoring nine goals, five of which came on the powerplay.
The goals only continued in the third as the Hunters undisciplined play led them to the penalty box multiple times allowing the Gaels to net more goals on the man advantage.
The Clarington club then followed that up with a Mother’s Day victory over the defending Founder’s Cup champions, the Akwesasne Indians, defeating them 13-10 in Bowmanville.
