Getting into the holiday spirit

The City of Oshawa’s annual tree lighting is set for Nov. 17.

Some may not want to believe it, but it’s that time of year again.

And now, continuing a tradition that began more than 30 years ago, the City of Oshawa will once again host the annual tree lighting to kick-start the holiday season.

The event will take place on Nov. 17 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at City Hall Civic Square (50 Centre Street South).

Following the event, the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries will be hosting an after party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
