Sam Harding, 18, was drafted in the 2nd round by the Oshawa Generals in the 2013 OHL draft. His draft year saw him score 19 points in 32 games with the York Simcoe Express. He also had a strong performance in the OHL Cup that season, scoring six points in as many games.
Harding would make the Generals roster the following season and score 14 points in 63 games as a rookie. As a member of the Memorial Cup Champions, he would set career-highs in every scoring category (12-12-24).
