Food for Clothing drive fast approaching

The Food for Clothing Drive is making one final push for donations as the official event is set to launch on Nov. 7.

For nearly three decades, volunteers have gathered to collect, sort and distribute clothing to families in need.

The annual Food for Clothing Drive will kick off at 9 a.m. at Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School and run until noon.

Organizers are urging residents to bring in any clothing, whether it’s snowsuits, mitts, gloves, tuques, dress shirts, jeans or T-shirts, boots or sneakers; if it’s in good condition, they’ll take it.
