Federal inmate breaks parole

The OPP is seeking the public’s help in tracking down a federal inmate that has broken his parole and has a Canada-wide warrant out for his arrest.

Jamie David Cook, 32, is described as five feet and 10 inches tall, 200 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. Cook also has a tattoo on his left hand that reads “BREED,” a tattoo on his right hand that read “DYING” and a tattoo on his neck that reads “LOYALTY.”

OPP say Cook is serving a five-year, seven-month sentence for armed robbery, forcible confinement, disguise with intent and assaulting a police officer.

Cook is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Bradford, Barrie and Brockville.

Anyone with information on Cook’s whereabouts is asked to call the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad at 1-866-870-7673.
