The regional works department is advising residents that construction to upgrade the sanitary sewer system will close Stacey Avenue in Oshawa until the end of the year.
The work, which was scheduled to start on Monday, Oct. 17, is expected to be complete by the end of December. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Stacey Avenue, from the east side of Court Street to Drew Street, will be closed in stages to minimize disruption to residents.
