Two people are facing charges after an investigation yielded more than $54,000 in drugs and cash in Oshawa.
Over the past two weeks, Durham police concluded an investigation after receiving complaints of drug trafficking on Division Street in Oshawa.
On Nov. 12, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Division Street in Oshawa. Five parties were arrested at the residence and one suspect fled on foot, but was arrested a short distance away.
Police located and seized approximately $52,000 worth of crystal meth, heroin, crack cocaine, fentanyl, cannabis, and just over $2,500 in cash.
A 46-year-old male and 39-year-old male have been charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. The 46-year-old was also charged with breach of probation. They were held for bail hearings.
