After weeks and months of anticipation, Autofest is nearly here.
The annual event for car lovers of all ages is coming up quick, set for Aug. 20 and 21 at Oshawa’s scenic Lakeview Park.
There, you will be able to see the top classic cars of yesterday. Whether it be cars restored to what they were like the day they rolled off the factory line, or modified into a fire spitting hotrod, you will find it at Autofest.
As it always has been, proceeds from Autofest go to those who truly deserve it.
Grandview Children’s Centre offers services to more than 5,000 children and youth with special needs in Durham.
However, the main Grandview site in Oshawa is already at capacity, and with 2,600 children awaiting services and an expected increase of 31 per cent over the next 20 years, Grandview is in dire need of funds to help them expand.
Thanks to Grandview, children that need the services are able to access them and, because of that, are able to benefit and do great things with their young lives.
And thanks to Autofest, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to help these programs going and to help them expand even more.
