Arrest over indecent exposure

An Oshawa resident is facing several charges after a man was seen exposing himself in Bowmanville.

Police responded to a retail parking lot at Longworth Avenue and Scugog Street at approximately 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17 after receiving a call for an indecent act. According to police, a man sitting in a parked car was exposing himself in full view of those who walked past. By the time police arrived, the vehicle had fled, but was spotted by a patrolling officer about an hour later.

A suspect was arrested without incident.

A 28-year-old male of Brock Street East in Oshawa has been charged with an indecent act, breaching probation and driving while under suspension. He was later released on an undertaking of conditions.
