Apartment robbed at gunpoint

Police are seeking three suspects they say tied up and robbed a man at gunpoint in his apartment near the Oshawa Centre mall.

At approximately 8:10 p.m. on Dec. 19, three male suspects entered an apartment near Marland Avenue and Grenfell Street. Police say two were armed with handguns. The male occupant of the apartment was tied up and robbed of methadone and cash. A second male that was in the apartment was not harmed.

Police say the three male suspects fled the area on foot. Officers arrived on scene after the victim called, but the suspects were not found. The victim was not seriously injured during this incident.

Investigators say they don’t believe this was a random incident.

The first suspect is described as black with a light complexion, about six feet and two inches tall and with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a grey and black baseball cap, black hooded shirt and black pants.

The second suspect is described as black, about five feet and nine inches tall and with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black toque, black jacket and black pants.

The third suspect is described as black and was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt.
