Wynne making right call on cameras

Dear Editor,

Thank goodness and it is about time! The premier is finally doing something (or at least proposing something) that isn’t going to get everyone to have a cow! There are finally going to be cameras located in school zones that will save lives, catch the people that do not follow the speed limit, and force the drivers to finally read those road signs. They are not put up for show – they actually mean something!

For those motorists that really do not care, your time will come!

While we are on the subject of cameras, I still do not understand why so many motorists are against cameras at intersections! You are photographed every single day that you are on most streets downtown because most businesses have surveillance cameras on the outside of their buildings. It is precisely for this reason that you should not object to intersection cameras.

The only reason that I can think of is motorists object because they do not want to get caught doing something illegal!
