Who is getting punished here?

Dear Editor,

I cannot believe that students at one elementary school are still out protesting the curriculum! Homosexuality is not even broached until Grade 7!

The parents of these students are doing them a great injustice by having them out of school. The students out of school will have to do all of the assignments and projects and get caught up for the classroom time that they missed. The only people that are getting hurt are the students themselves.

The teachers still get paid no matter what, so whom are the parents actually punishing?

It is unfortunate that these five and six year olds do not have a say in the matter, because I am quite sure that they would actually be more than happy to attend school! Just remember that the only ones getting hurt are the students themselves.
