Where is the fiscal responsibility?

Letter writer Russ Horner is absolutely correct when he says why bother voting when it is a choice between the provincial Liberals and the liberal-light provincial Progressive Conservatives (“PCs going green for votes,” March 30).

Three months ago, I took out membership in the Ontario PC’s, thinking they were the best chance we had of defeating “Mother” Wynne and her grossly incompetent and fiscally irresponsible government. It is hard to describe my disappointment when learning that PC leader Patrick Brown has now endorsed the payment of carbon taxes and has swallowed the myth of man-made climate change. I have now cancelled my membership in the provincial PC’s and will not be voting in the next provincial election.

My only regret is that there is no political party to vote for which promotes fiscal responsibility and economic growth in our province without the climate change baggage.
