Where are the seatbelts?

Dear Editor,

I do not understand why school buses are still not outfitted with seatbelts for students of all ages, but the bus driver has one. This is so archaically wrong in this day and age of road safety.

I would appreciate if The Express would look into the reasons why there aren’t any.

As far as I am concerned, there is no good reason why these precious loads should be exempt.

The same goes for GO and local transit buses. The drivers of these types of buses don’t always drive passively either.
