UOIT Ridgebacks’ defender Kylie Bordeleau was named a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) second team all-Canadian at the women’s soccer national championship banquet in Vancouver.

This marks the first time in program history that a UOIT student-athlete has been named an all-Canadian.

Prior to receiving this honour, Bordeleau was named an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) all-star for the third straight season. This year, she anchored the Ridgeback defensive unit that allowed seven goals against in 16 regular season games, which tied them with the York Lions for the conference lead.

The fourth-year health science major also represented Team Canada in July at the 2015 FISU Games in South Korea.
