Truly becoming a Royal pain
Dear Editor,
Can we soon have an end to this soap opera being plastered all over the media concerning Harry and Meghan every day?
The media is obsessed with this type of fluff instead of following the real news in our country, such as the faltering economy that affects all of us, and the leadership we sorely lack in Ottawa.
I had a high regard for Harry, as a warrior who fought in a combat zone for his country twice, and for his instrumental role in organizing the Invictus Games for wounded veterans.
Since he married, I am not sure who he is anymore, and I am not sure he does either.
There is much talk of them splitting their time now between Canada and the UK.
I think there will be much more time spent in sunny California, namely Hollywood, than the UK, where Meghan can rub shoulders with the people she really idolizes, and would like to emulate, namely liberal movie stars who spend a lot of time trash talking President Trump, and preaching to the rest of us mortals how to tighten our belts and cut back on carbon emissions.
These are the same people who are constantly flying somewhere between their multiple mansions and buying the token Tesla or Prius to show the world how virtuous they are, or buying useless “carbon credits” to appease their conscience.
I wish Harry the best of luck. I think he will probably need it after that nose ring of his begins to chafe.
And by the way, we taxpayers of Canada should not be on the hook for any services or protection for this couple.
We have an entitled couple in Ottawa that are fleecing us every which way now.
