Trudeau needs to do more for people, not banks
Dear editor,
Every day Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is on television saying the same thing over and over. I am tired of hearing about how much money he is giving people. Yes, that is good, but how about being proactive and start doing something positive for Canadians? Money that he promises won’t do any good if you contact the deadly virus.
The following is a copy I translated that was sent to me by a friend – a surgeon from Italy:
United States is no longer the world leader.
China has won the Third world war without shooting a single shot or killing anyone with a single missile. People turn to God only when in trouble or need doctors, nurses. Frontline workers are more valuable then hockey players. Death does not distinguish colour, race, or importance and status. People are now learning not to waste and save for tomorrow.
Social media is good for keeping us close and informed but sometimes it causes panic, and now we understand how animals feel penned in a zoo. Today children do not know how to play without Internet or television. Some are millionaires but do not serve humanity at all. Sanitary workers feel abandoned and alone, yet they work aimlessly. Now we have to forget shaking hands or hugging a loved one or a friend. The planet will regenerate itself without the help of humans. The real virus of the planet is humanity.
We are not prepared for a pandemic. It’s more important to invest in health than in a bank.
